9. Beautiful Big Sky

On the prairies, they would call this a Big Sky.Try as I might, this is the first time I have taken photos of this breathtaking view and have them turn out! This was taken facing into the blinding sun. Not being able to see it in the digital view-finder to assess whether I captured a worthy picture worked for me today! 

From where I took this photo, the sky appeared quite a bit brighter and the shaft of light wasn't apparent to me, so I was delighted when I uploaded these photos today.
