A flash of pink caught my eyes as I walked away from our parking area. On further inspection, I see it’s a lovely pink camellia. Not having the knowledge of a gardener, I imagine that the flower was either very eager to bloom early or it's been tricked by the warmth coming from a nearby dryer vent. The plant is situated on the north side of a building, away from most sunlight, but filled with buds. At this time of year, I’m glad that a few flowers have decided to burst forth, a nice spark of colour in an otherwise green landscape.
